The Cubs beat the Astros 2-1 (box score) on Wednesday, but the game took a serious crawl in the fourth frame when Chicago centerfielder Albert Almora hit a skyrocket foul ball soured Houston starting motor Wade Miley down the left-field line in foul-smelling territory. Immediately, the aspect was scary. Almora yelled something twice in seeming agony and then crouched to the ground. The distribute didn't show the aspect in the crowd, but the faces of all the players information technology was showing -- namely Javier Baez and Alex Bregman standing succeeding to each other with excessively troubled looks -- said it every last: A fan had been struck.
